Mind in a Jar: Planting Seeds of Mindfulness

A beautiful way to illustrate mindfulness to kids is making a Mindfulness Jar, or Calming Jar. I made these in the elementary schools with kids- they are a tangible way to show our swirling thoughts and emotions- which is normal - and what happens when we allow our mind and body to settle by breathing.
